It was a beautiful day. Temperatures were around 65 degrees and it was perfect day to drive to Bull Run Regional Park in Fairfax, Va where the Blue Bell Flowers were in full bloom. I used my Fuji X-e1 with the 60mm macro, 35mm 1.4, and a Carl Zeiss 100mm 2.0 macro with a Nikon mount and a Fuji adapter. A great light weight camera package. The tripod was a Benro Mefoto compact.
Elliot,
Thank you. I haven’t seen these around the golf course this year. Glad you could catch them. Joe Lee

A quick follow up. I had written an article recently about ticks and how to get rid of them once they become a part of your personal eco system. Well they are here. I removed one (1) from my body who had been happily feeding through the night. Be smart and take the necessary step to do preventive body and clothing prep before going into the wild.
