I think or hope you will find this article one that might take you in a better direction in regards to street photography. It is thoughtfully written and I would agree with the basic premise of the essay. Think about it and perhaps you too will agree.
Street photography for years has been defined as candidly capturing people and their happenings in public. But it seems like that’s changing.

I thought the article was on target. I guess “street photography” should be broken down into several categories. My understanding throughout my many years was that street photography represented a moment in the people’s lives captured on film and now digital, that would only happen once in the way it was captured. Who, how, where, and when.
