Social media has become a wonderful way of meeting people that you may never physically shake hands with or hug, or even get to see what they look like. Sometimes you can get an immediate feel for a person and what they like or dislike, whether or not you will agree with them more often than not, or maybe never.
Marc Wielaert is such a person who I met through an article I posted of another photographers article on my blog. He in turn wrote an excellent blog article about how he approaches his photography, where he came from and where he is going.
I personally found the article inspiring as I hope you will. It is very honest feeling and to the point and could well represent what a of us feel at any given time about the photography we love so much.
In this post you won’t see any smartphone comparison. Due to unfortunate circumstances I had to stay away from my laptop as much as possible and editing/cropping pictures is still not advisable. So that has given me more time to read and think about smartphone photography and photography in general. In this post I’ll share some of my thoughrs and insights, illustrated with a few old and recent shots.
