The X-Pro1: Understanding the Dynamic Range Feature and its Relationship to ISO | Adam Bonn Photography

Adam is very astute and really knows how to nail down the tech on Fuji X cameras and photography in general.  It may be useful to follow his blog and should consider doing that.  He is also very responsive to questions.

In this article he talks about dynamic range of the camera and the features in the Fuji that allow for the adjustment of that dynamic range.  In reality similar controls in the menus of other camera brands offer a way to do that as well and this article may help you understand what is you are doing when you make adjustments like that.
